Just bought this for $15, will it sew leather? Please say yes…

Found it on marketplace and thought ‘it looks sturdy, it can probably handle leather’ and now this heavy thing is sitting in my basement waiting for a little work over.

So my question is, what is it, and are there any quirks that I should know about? And can I sew leather with it?

Thanks!

I just finished making this fully synthetic albino bat as a faux taxidermy project.

This Albino Myotis art doll was an experimental project using some new materials. Safe to say, it was a huge success. Materials used: resin, wire, stretchy white fabric, red yarn, eye shadow, and PVA glue. Hope you enjoy him as much as I do!
