How does tertiary Ni show up in artistic endeavors?

Hello,

I am curious to understand ISFPs better, and especially regarding the role of tertiary Ni. For those of you who are interested in artistic endeavors (I use the term broadly, so including for example music and dance) could you explain what role tertiary Ni plays for you?

For me, as a Ni-dom, Ni plays the overarching, guiding role. For example, if I am playing Chopin, I very quickly have an idea of what the entire piece "means" and how each note, phrase, etc. plays a role that relates to the whole. That vision will guide every practice session and the details that I refine.

My sort of general idea is that for a Fi-dom, you are probably primarily "led" first by a sense of inspiration or authenticity, and then tertiary Ni might "kick in" to help you organize your idea into a unified vision that is faithful to the idea that inspired you. For example, maybe an image of a flower with a certain shape and texture inspires you, and then while executing the idea, you have a sense that the meaning of the flower is a certain mood so you guide the details to match that mood. I'm not really sure if my idea is accurate though, so I'd be grateful for any thoughts or corrections!
