The Shadow Hybrid strikes.

Its first beam rips across the Excalibur. A second follows, tearing through the ship from another angle. The hull shudders. Explosions race across the superstructure.

There is no formation anymore. No battle plan.

Only survival.

Hell has broken loose.

Crusade: The Ghost of the Cerberus (part 2)

The Shadow Hybrid fires first.

Its beam sweeps toward the Excalibur, carving a path across the darkness. The enemy is closing fast.

The crew realizes there isn't enough time. The fate of the Cerberus is about to be repeated.

All around them, unknown fighters—unlike anything ever encountered before—race into weapons range and open fire. Their first volley finds a Thunderbolt Starfury, blowing it out of the sky.

The first casualty.

The battle for survival has begun..

Crusade: The Ghost of the Cerberus

After years of searching, Captain Gideon finally comes face to face with the destroyer of the EAS Cerberus.

But the truth is worse than he ever imagined.

An unknown vessel emerges from nowhere behind the Excalibur, instantly taking up an attack position while unleashing a wave of previously unseen fighters. As the sensors register a violent energy surge, the truth becomes impossible to ignore: an unmistakable Shadow technology signature.

Outnumbered and caught in a perfectly executed ambush, the Excalibur must push its engines to the limit to escape enemy firing range and fight for survival in what could become its final battle.
