2009 Vespa GTS 250 ie
Found a 2009 Vespa GTS 250 ie listed for $1,200 with 18,000 miles. Going to see it for myself on Friday and hoping to come home with it. Seller says it runs great but it’s clearly been stored in a garage for some time. This will be my first moped!
Interesting detail — the listing just said “2009 Vespa Vespa” with no model information. I had to identify it myself from the photos. He seemed unaware of exactly what he had and it doesn’t seem like he knows much about its previous maintenance. Make of that what you will regarding the price 😄
Questions I have:
What should I look/listen for on the cold start?
Any common issues on the 2009 GTS 250 ie I should know about?
Does $1,200 seem fair for this mileage and condition?
Anything specific to inspect on this model before buying?
