If you were robbing me, what three books would you steal? 😂

If you were robbing me, what three books would you steal? 😂

Just for fun, I was wondering which of my books people would want. Also show me pictures of your shelves so I can be nosy!!

What special edition is beautiful aesthetically but you don’t care for the story?

I love bookish box’s Last Starborn Seer. It’s so beautiful and girly and whimsical. But the story is so meh that I won’t be buying it. Any other examples of this?

Looking for males (Y chromosome) only

Hello I am new to this subreddit, noticed that it is dominated primarily by females (x chromosome) but my question is for the male audience.

I'm new to romantasy started reading it not too long ago.

Currently I am reading a men’s only book called Stolen midnight and it's pretty good. As a guy, who is definitely a man, reader I tend to read more manly action-based reads like sci-fi, dystopian, and regular fantasy but I might read more romantasy in the future.

So if any guys (not girls) would like to share what are some romantasy books that you are currently reading or have read in past? And how does it feel participate in a genre that is mostly dominated by women? Personally I’m used to everything being made for me so I feel like a real fish (male fish) out of water!

WTF is Rain of Shadows and Endings?

Literally depressed after DNF’ing this book because it’s literally torture porn. The FMC is forced into a subservient bond with the MMC who is just the fucking worst. He controls everything about her, what she eats, wears, says, etc. while she tries to battle for her freedom. It kind of reminded me of Handmaid’s tale (tv show, not the book) in that the torture reads as gratuitous.

I feel like we are being shown the author’s kink but like abusive relationships are a real thing and I did not get a good enough trigger warning about this book. It’s presented as a Romantasy but it’s not romantic and barely set in a fantasy world. Idk, just coming on here to see if anyone else felt this way, I literally feel sad for the FMC or any women who have gone through this.

Book where the FMC reluctantly marries a MMC that’s wanted her forever

Is there a Romantasy or fantasy book where the MMC has wanted to marry the FMC for a long time but she always refused but then she agrees to marry him as a bargaining chip for something she wants? Like maybe he’s a king and she needs his royal help or something? I really want a MMC that’s so happy to finally have her and she has to figure out how she feels about him.
