Cancelled my CC Max subscription

... a few months after having previously moved away from the Cursor IDE.

Currently rocking Cursor CLI as my daily driver with Composer 2.5 doing most of the heavy lifting. I'm not sure what Anthropic are smoking, but the cost do anything effectively with their models is simply unsustainable (you *need* to be on the `fast` models for a reasonable response time. At $20 per Mtok, that's simply not acceptable for what is a lot of times still a pretty goofy model).

As an added bonus, it doesn't take 5 seconds for the TUI to load when I press `agent`, and I can safely resize my tmux panes. Once again, I'm not sure what Anthropic are smoking, but their TUI has become an absolute nightmare UX wise.

Really cool to see Anysphere hitting back after being repeatedly lambasted for 'not having a moat' and being a 'wrapper around 3rd party API's'. gj lads

Anyone recognize this prompt?

I got this shortly after this exact series of events:

  1. unfreeze my card

  2. wait for it to become available in Apple Pay

  3. pay for cursor.sh subscription

  4. shortly after I got this prompt

I can’t make heads nor tails of what it is. doesn’t map cleanly to any Apple Pay or Cursor related service that I can find. not entirely sure what that prompt is at all. I cancelled my card and ordered a new one. Wondering whether I need to nuke my devices or not

A fictional EU state flag

My 5 min mockup of an idea I had for an EU flag.

The stars are merged into a single band - each individual state dissolving into a single, infinite circle is not bad as far as symbology goes.

EU countries are diverse and different - it was hard to think of what is the most potent shared heritage we have - for better or for worse, Christianity comes to mind as the frontrunner, so I worked a wee cross in there.

I have no vexillology experience and am just a guy who had figma open at the wrong time. Roasts welcome.
