This medication is FUN
25M. I'm 3 weeks into bupropion 150mg XL. Using the generic made by Epic pharma. So far having an amazing time lol. Libido is through the roof, energy through the roof, motivation is back like I haven't felt in a few years, I'm speaking more clearly, using better words, and my voice is actually deeper. Feels like all-around brain enhancement. Definitely feeling more enjoyment from things, smelling more clearly and I think even seeing more clearly. Like noticing details from far away. Definitely feels speedy, like I'm on something. But this drug definitely awakens my emotional system from the flat, sad, "stuck" state I was in. I tend to struggle with OCD thought patterns as well, and I don't notice a huuuge "change" there yet. I will say I feel more positive overall and less stuck in rumination... like if I start ruminating, with bupropion I've been able to just change tasks and get onto a new mental track, instead of being stuck on it. I noticed the speediness on day 1, but within the last 5 days I've really noticed the mood and mental state changes manifesting. WHoever comments telling me oh it's just a honeymoon: congratulations, you are a medical genius and thank you for the helpful input.
Most importantly, I have been able to have FUN and enjoyment in the last few days in a way that has not been possible much over the last few years. I feel bolder, more confident, and eager for life. Wishing yall the best, hoping this encourages someone to give it a try
