Constructed in Normal with the Addmoney mod. Fully built, it is profitable at around 200m a day, with multiple fare categories for light/heavy/commuter/Rhônexpress. All route and station names are accurate, and I tried to make headways accurate as well (regarding the light usage rate)
Since the map is quite big, I'm thinking of adding in TER french regional trains next. Let me know your thoughts!
Been playing this game since long before steam release, and can say I’ve been thoroughly addicted. My lasting issue is since this debacle has been occurring since steam release and patch after patch of bug fixes, performance is still incredibly subpar.
Prior to these updates, I would have unlimited budget systems with 100+ stations and hundreds of trains. Now, my game speed is the same then but with a mere 50 stations and much much fewer trains playing on normal.
I think part of this may be Windows vs. Mac related, as I’ve heard/seen the devs only recently started testing on Windows. Regardless, I hope it can be addressed because while adding new cities is nice, I can barely play Paris for more than a few hours without it grinding to a halt. Please fix the underlying issues.
I’m confident the devs will fix the many bugs in 1.4, but I’m honestly not having fun with this game in this state and miss the old version. Plus, I love and miss my modded maps!
I've exlusively been playing on sandbox for the past bit to get the hang of things, and actually ended up making a profitable system for the first time. I really want to turn it friom sandbox to normal, to see if I can keep it profitable with financial constraints as well now. Does anybody know how to do this?
BTW I've tried Ctrl+F in the save file for "gameMode" like an old post suggested, yet nothing showed up.
I'm not sure if my game is just being buggy, but no matter what I do I can't build this tunnel. I've rebuilt and destroyed the Warren St station like 10 times at different depths, and even tried using tracks under 100m. I think my game is broken :(
