Why is the Water Color not Changing no MATTER what I do? What can I do?
I have the water to a khaki-ish color, but the color isn’t changing no matter what I do. I need help with this bug!

Wasn’t there a Subway Builder Wiki at one point? What happened to it 🤔
Hi guys, I'm going to buy the game soon and I didn't get whether elevation/hilly terrain is accounted for in the maps or if the games treats everything as either flat or water.
Cheers!
The question in the title.
My slightly-Singapore-MRT-inspired Honolulu save. 7 light metro lines (5 main lines, 2 people-movers) and one commuter rail.
I had $6 fares during the building phase but it's breakeven with $1 fares and 55% demand.
Started from scratch (again) but successfully built a profitable system generating ~$72M/day. I'd like to keep expanding but at this point, any new extension is going to eat into my margin. Given the margin is currently at 41%, debating whether to expand towards Fort Worth for the sake of ridership.
System overview:
So basically my question is why do I have so much delays? I'm running 30 minute headways during rush hour and you can see the delays are past 50 minutes. I have efficient track routing, and as you can see from the screenshots the trains are always about half capacity, so I don't see any reason for delays, anybody have any tips?
This I my first time uploading here, I would like to know what you guys think 400+ stations 15 lines
So basically I know they are working on at grade crossings but I had an idea where if you go along an existing ROW for reduced costs eg public infastructure like highways or rails
Don’t mind the squiggles they’re for making Honolulu’s city limit (blue) and the mountain that’s missing (green).
I used Google Maps to help with more realistic placements so I don’t accidentally build a station under building that aren’t modeled (As best as possible, some building may be gone).
Fun fact: The I(intercity)1 line follows the actual Honolulu Skyline Rail system from Pearl City to Puuhale Rd.
Hi everyone,
I made Network Planner, a planning and analytics suite for Subway Builder. It reads the game's real demand grid and live line metrics and turns them into decisions: where to expand, which lines need trains, when, and where crowding comes from.
It adds a three-tab panel, and the analysis works with zero setup.
Planning (where to grow)
Efficiency (how well it runs)
It also has optional key-free satellite basemaps (Esri, Google, Hybrid, OSM). The core analysis needs no proxy or key; satellite needs a tiny local tile server (one-time setup, see the README).
Free and open source: https://github.com/davidkarpik/network-planner
Download the latest release, drop it into your mods folder, and activate it. Feedback and ideas are very welcome. 😉
*Update: Railyard or similar third-party platforms are not necessary to run the mod.
*Edit: Could a mod please edit the post title to Planner, instead of Planer 🥶
Feels like a missed opportunity to add stations with both island and side platforms when the new layouts were added.
the junction is just so pleasing to the eyes
No to complain but cmon, the last map we got was in like January or maybe even december
Track Anarchy removes Subway Builder's construction limits for every train type.
https://subwaybuildermodded.com/railyard/mods/track-anarchy/
Removed limits:
- removed minimum curve radius — on track and through stations
- removed the maximum grade / slope cap
removed track, station & tunnel clearance (they can overlap)
- removed minimum parallel-track spacing (tracks can stack on top of each other)
- removed the build-height floor & ceiling (−100 m / +20 m → effectively unlimited)
- removed the building-foundation gap (tunnel flush under buildings)
- removed minimum & maximum station lengths
- removed minimum & maximum track segment lengths
- removed at-grade road-crossing barriers
Still Enforced: (hard coded by game, if anyone figures out a way to bypass, let me know)
- stations must start & end at the same level
- different track types still can't connect
- airport runways & taxiways still block at-grade crossings
I am also the author of the Track Height Visualizer mod (https://subwaybuildermodded.com/railyard/mods/track-visualizer). If you have any feedback on either mod, please leave a comment.
I started playing and was able to create routes, but suddenly the nodes will not pop up at any of my stations, even in different saves and after closing the game.
I don't really know the game yet, so it is possible I am missing something, but it seems the nodes pop up for others automatically in videos. I just want to make lines!
I'm having these extreme delays always around the same time of the day. I've deleted the route and nothing seems to work. Any advise?
