Green Lobsters S2 batch - grabbed these looking for a little more accurate swoosh. They have decent suede movement and feel good on feet. Probably still end up grabbing the OG at some point.

Black Pigeon S2 - Love this shoe. Excited to throw some concrete under it. Missed a little bit of paint bleeding down into the orange on the right heel but that’s on me. Other than that,psyched on how these came out.

Chunky Dunky S2 - Grabbed this batch on recommendation from RM( for accuracy) and from what I’ve seen in the community. Colors are vibrant and the fur moves around well (not all matted down). Had the toe box crease pretty bad on me almost right away. I think on this one you sacrifice visual accuracy for durability you would get on m batch. Could’ve been my sizing though. They feel roomier than most SB’s. Might’ve done better sticking with my tts instead of going up a half like I usually do.

Paris - swoosh placement, stitching, material all came out amazing on this. I doubt I’ll ever put hands on a retail to compare this to but it’s just a fire pair all around.

Shipping on Paris and Pigeon came FedEx and took about 9 days to U.S. from label creation.

Lobsters and Chunks went UPS and took about 18 days from label. Nothing to do with rm just held up at customs.

Had smooth transaction with RM as usual. Answered any questions along the way.
10/10 seller.

Delivery time 8-9 days from placing order.

Both pairs came out clean. Would’ve green lit them both off QC photos. Only complaint I would have is the suede on the right toe box of the olives looks like a different quality than the left. Nothing major. I didn’t notice until I was swapping the laces. Still a banger for the price and quick arrival.

First off respect to the mods of this group. I’ve been working my way through a few of them and this is by far the best and most helpful I’ve come across.

Hoping this helps some beginners avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made starting out.

I started wearing Nike SB’s when I was 14 and after 23 years, I started to get an itch that could only be scratched with rebuilding that collection, but after six months of dropping, who knows how much on retail it started to make sense to look for a different alternative for something I was gonna throw on concrete.

I came across RepDogs and started trying to work my way through the process on how to buy, but I think like a lot of people who are unfamiliar with it. I had the worry of getting ripped off. So I made one of the first buys I regret. Going to eBay for reps. (blue and purple lobster) In my mind at least if the shoes didn’t show up I could get my money back($160usd blue/$190 purple😬). And I may have kept going that route if I hadn’t seen how much better the quality and price were after really digging in to this forum. I don’t think this is breaking news by any means, but just to make it clear those eBay reps were the hottest of garbage. Chalk it up to a learning curve.

Next, I went to Google and came across hypeunique. Again, as someone who was worried they were gonna get taken for a ride on this. I felt a little more comfortable knowing I could pay with credit card and having a better possibility of getting my money back if I got screwed. I grabbed the Travis Scott SB‘s from there. No mention of a batch, bad QC Photos, but I didn’t know anything about that at the time and I didn’t ask questions. Shoes got shipped and delivered at a reasonable time and superior quality compared to the ones I got off eBay. It was the same concept as getting laid by a 6. It looks impressive when all you’ve ever got were twos. None of the swishes were placed right and I wouldn’t call the quality bad but not up to the quality and price($150 w/cc fee) I now understand is possible for these.

So I made some mistakes out of the fear of getting taken. I don’t think it’s abnormal, but definitely could’ve been avoided with a little more research and patience on my part.

After these few not great experiences, I decide to use the trusted seller list because like any good addict I’m not stopping. I’m just adjusting accordingly.

Again to anyone newer, skeptical, reading this a big concern of mine was sending money PayPal and just having it be gone in the wind. But after reading through a lot of post, I decided to hit up repsmaster.

Responses were quick and any questions I had were answered. There’s no doubt why a lot of people put him in GOAT status.

I grabbed the orange lobsters first in the a.m.(got QC that day) and by 10 that night, I had already talked myself into grabbing the blue and purple. I live in the southeast United States and from order place to delivery, they got here in about 14-15 days.

Review:
Disclaimer. I’ve never actually help a retail pair in hand so this is going off my experience in SB in general.

Each one of them lived up to the expectations I had for them. The suede moves beautifully, especially on the blue. The shape looks and feels right. Like I said, I’m not sure if it’s like this with the retail pair but most of the SB’s I have aren’t very comfortable out of the box. So far these ones feel good wearing them hours at a time. The color isn’t the same as the retails and for what I can tell if you’re looking for that, I would lean more towards the S2. However, in my opinion, the quality of the suede and the speckling far outweigh that. There’s no doubt why the OG is the batch to go for, for these.
