Polymaths - how are they for metalcore?

I love how they sound on every demo i've Heard, but they are mostly more towards modern prog/djent, i believe.

And I havent found pretty much any examples or demos for them on 7 strings.

I already have a pair of Ragnaroks, but I was wondering how the Polymaths would perform for Metalcore, and how it would behave on the 7th string, as it is more of a mid output pickup set. Wondering if it wouldnt be too flubby, ir not tight enough.

What are your experiences with it?

Polymaths correct DC resistances and swapped - Bridge on neck?

Hi guys! I got a set of 7 string Polymaths second hand, and had them installed by someone elsw, as I have never done it myself. I've had the feeling something is not right for a while now, and I decided to check the resistances with a multimeter from the cable and they read as follows:

Bridge: 13 ish k

Neck: 13.88 ish k

Per the BKP site, bridge should be 14.2 and neck 11.9. So I believe the One I have in the bridge is actually the neck pickup? The bridge and neck tags that usually come on the pickup cables are no longer there.

But still, it is above the 11.9 k that is advertised on the site.

What do You guys think? Are these numbers ok?

Sorry if this is a pretty noob questions but well, yeah.

MM1 pickups- Jackson Juggernauts.

Hello guys! What are your thoughts on the Jackson MM1 Pickups, usually found on Juggernaut guitars? There is not much information on them around.

Specially the 6 string version.

For those of you that have been able to swap them for the original BKP Juggernauts (pickups), how do they compare to the MM1? Is there a really noticeable difference improvement?

What other pickups do you like on the Juggernauts for 6 string?

I recently got mine, after having a 7 string for a bit over a year, and I am still debating on wether to swap them for a pair of Ragnaroks I have in another guitar, keep the MM1, or look for something different.

What are your experiencies/advise?
