Polymaths - how are they for metalcore?

I love how they sound on every demo i've Heard, but they are mostly more towards modern prog/djent, i believe.

And I havent found pretty much any examples or demos for them on 7 strings.

I already have a pair of Ragnaroks, but I was wondering how the Polymaths would perform for Metalcore, and how it would behave on the 7th string, as it is more of a mid output pickup set. Wondering if it wouldnt be too flubby, ir not tight enough.

What are your experiences with it?

BKP Blackhawk/Juggernaut on a Strandberg N2.6

Has anyone tried both Black hawk ceramic and alnico? How big of a difference there is? I played the alnico and loved them all around, I’d just have to wait 4-6 waits for a delivery while the ceramics are ready to order, however I don’t know what I’m sacrificing.

Recently I also played the SD Pegasus Sentient on a Chapman guitar, I really loved the leads on it, chugs sounded ok but that’s where Black Hawk alnico felt more complete.

Additionally I’m tempted by BKP Juggernaut, they could suit me well.

Played Aftermath 7, nice chugs, tight rhythm but the leads were lacking something, felt a bit “dry”

Any opinions are welcome, thank you

Anyone have the Halcyon pickups?

Im curious if anyone has experience with these. I’m looking for a pickup that can do drop tuned modern metal but can also sound good doing grunge or hard rock. I have yet to see any YouTube videos with someone playing the Halcyon pickups with anything other than super drop tuned metal.
