Why do AMV editors seem to hate CapCut (technical, not ethical) for making AMVs? Is there something important missing from it?

Hello, I'm fairly new to the AMV scene, and as I've started chatting with more AMV creators, I've noticed highly negative views on CapCut and its capabilities, and I'm not sure where this is coming from, so I would love to hear some opinions.

I edit my AMVs using CapCut (paid version), and aside from some frustrations with masking and there not being premade options for i.e. zoom keyframes to move in a way other than linear, I haven't found anything I would like to do that I can't with the editing program.

Some common criticism I've heard is that it having premade effects makes your videos look the same as everyone else's, but I'm not sure how that's different from using effect plugins with other software.

I know there's a TON I don't yet understand about editing, so please help me out! I could learn another program if CapCut really is that much behind on everything else technically, but I'm not sure if I need to use something like vegas pro or AE for just making AMVs (not mentioning DaVinci as I don't want to edit using nodes haha).
