New bike making a scary sound
I got this new bike and it's making a scary sound from the right crank. obviously something seriously wrong but I'm wondering if it's an obvious issue or not.

I commute to work on a bike and I've noticed more electric vehicles. I have a couple of concerns though.
Their quick acceleration seems to make it harder to find those "natural gaps" in traffic to turn right or merge into traffic. With ICE vehicles it felt there was a kind of natural pulse to the traffic.
The way they seem to accelerate up to the end of a street makes it harder for me to confidently be sure that they will indeed stop. I end up braking at a bunch of street intersections needlessly.
I wanted to gauge if others had experienced something similar.
