skipping selection exams

Hi everyone! I’m a Class 12 ISC student. My selection exams started on 14th August and continue till 2nd September including practicals. I’ve decided to skip them and my parents are okay with it.

I’ve only missed one exam so far so my class teacher hasn’t contacted me yet. However I need to either text or call her and give a reason for my absence. I’m worried that if I submit a medical certificate later she’ll ask why my parents didn’t inform her on WhatsApp or call her earlier.

Please suggest a good way to handle this. I can provide a medical certificate later if required, but I’m confused about what I should tell her right now 😭

I'm completely lost about my career and would genuinely appreciate some advice.

My qualifications:

I'm from India and currently in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English (PCMB).

The problem is I don't really fit into the usual boxes.

• I enjoy Physics but only the numerical/problem solving part. I don't really enjoy the theory.

•I don't like Maths.

•Chemistry and Biology are okay but I'm not really passionate about either.

My parents don't want me to pursue engineering or medicine and although my sister suggested law (CLAT) I don't think it's for me because I'd like to move abroad after working for a few years.

One thing I do know is that I like career paths such as B.Tech where you can start earning well after a bachelor's degree and a master's is something you can choose to do later instead of something you have to do. I'm looking for careers with a similar structure.

What I'm looking for:

•I'm open to literally any career.

•Good earning potential after a bachelor's degree.

•Strong long-term career growth.

•Opportunities to work abroad after a few years of experience.

If you were in my position what careers would you look into? I'd especially love to hear about careers that most students don't even know exist.

Thanks in advance!
