Hi,

I am looking for some advice on my next pair of walking boots.

Currently daily driving a pair of Scarpa Terra GTX which have unfortunately started separating between the midsole and upper so they are no longer waterproof.

Really liked them, but I found they worn quite quickly and did not offer the best grip on wet/uneven terrain and could be uncomfortable on sharp rocks.

I was thinking something a bit more heavy duty - maybe something like the Scarpa Ranger II Activ but these are old and presume there are newer/better technologies out there?

These boots would be my sole pair - will do around 5+ miles daily at least on dog walks and then long hikes (10+ miles) over varying terrain.

Any recommendations welcome - budget ~£250 max
