Found accident damage a year later

My husband purchased a used 2020 Escalade ESV from Carvana about a year ago. An accident was disclosed, but damages were listed as "unknown." Price was ok, so we moved forward and purchased it, along with the Carvana Premier warranty. Car was delivered, we took care of a few cos6tmetic defects with them, and all has been good. We have made some repairs that have been covered by warranty and it has been a solid car. We recently had the dealership look at the park assist sensors as they were starting to act up. They removed the front bumper and told us that the bumper has been painted over. Behind the bumper, there was a cracked active grill shutter and mount. We were informed this could cause a check engine light down the line. I called Carvana, who told me to call SilverRock (warranty provider), who told me to call Carvana, who once again had me call SilverRock. They told me to have the dealership file a claim, but I'm not too hopeful. What recourse do I have? Carvana touts a 150 point inspection, and they obviously missed a painted bumper and damaged component. 😑

Mortgage options for self employed <2 years

My husband has been self employed for several years. I am a SAHM/assistant to him. Just over a year ago, he started a new business to move some contracts over to, so he could avoid certain conflicts of interest. This new business has taken off and he earns roughly $250k per year, with $100k as his income after deductions. His work requires a lot of travel and schmoozing, so we deduct a lot. Now, with most of our debt paid off and a credit score over 750, we would like to buy a house but are having the hardest time finding a lender. We would like to stick to 5% down, maybe 10%, on a $325k - $350k home. We have a co-borrower ready as well. Our co-borrower earns roughly $80k per year (W2) and also has a credit score of about 750. Can anyone recommend a lender? Thanks in advance.
