My Galaxy S23 never had a really good battery life (which is disappointing for a flagship phone) but after One UI 7 update, it got even worse. Then, a few weeks ago my battery started to swell up (I noticed, because my back cover popped out) and it died in three hours, so I replaced it. Now as I'm using it, the battery isn't even good, never lasts me a full day and even when I'm not using it, it's draining. It always feels like something is going on in the background, because sometimes it gets hot on normal tasks. I always close all the apps and optimise it.

Any recommendations from personal experience about what I should do to make my battery life better? And should I upgrade to latest One UI?
