Strange experience with leaking

Sometimes when I’m wearing my cup I get the sensation of leaking. So I check it in the bathroom and find that I have leaked but it’s just clear liquid. No blood. What is happening here? Does anyone else experience this?

“My girlfriend and I’s”

It really grinds my gears that people write “I apostrophe s” as if that has ever been a contraction ever. The correct phrasing would be my “girlfriend’s and my….”

In fairness to everyone who does this, I blame those who taught millennials in the 2000s. At that time there was a widespread habit of people starting sentences “‘Me and my girlfriend’ went for coffee.” This is incorrect because you would never say “me went for coffee.” So in an attempt to fix this collective habit we all had, teachers really ground “my girlfriend and I” into our heads, always with a dramatic emphasis on the “I.”

As a result you’ve got people using “my girlfriend and I” everywhere they can. Not only are people saying “my girlfriend and I” possessively, but they are also using it objectively: “the barista brought coffee to my girlfriend and I” when it should be “…to me and my girlfriend.”

Word nerds geek out with me! The 2000s overcorrected our grammar such that everyone is making the opposite mistake now! It’s honestly cool to see the evolution. But also I want to scream about it. 😂
