Problems starting 6 months post op

Feeling disheartened. I had my gallbladder removal 6 months ago now and have been absolutely fine, a bit of constipation for the first few months but ultimately nothing horrific. I was feeling really good about it. Not sure what the change is, or if it’s more just my body finally adjusting, but over the last two weeks I’ve lost control of my bowels twice. No identifiable trigger, foods I’ve eaten many times before and after surgery and been fine but all of a sudden both times I crapped my pants after. And now I keep getting the same thing, these stomach pains after I eat, nothing like gallstone pain thankfully but more so in my bowel area and I’m afraid it’s gonna lead to me crapping my pants again. It happened at work the other day. So embarrassing and inconvenient, and not even like I’d eaten anything to expect it, I’d had plain bread and butter. I don’t get it. Really hoping this isn’t the new norm. I’m also finding it’s literally impossible to lose weight now too since removal, my old methods don’t work at all and even exercising hasn’t helped. Just feeling disheartened, I don’t regret my surgery because the pain was awful and I had no choice, but I wish I’d known about gallstones etc and looked after myself in my earlier years. Maybe I never would’ve got here.

Is there a way to bring on signs from a loved one or do they just choose whether to or not?

I guess I just feel sad sometimes that I don’t really feel like I get signs from my deceased loved one. Struggling a bit recently. I’ve been seeing a lot of white feathers, and there’s been a couple times his favourite songs have played, but nothing really I can distinctively say yes that’s him. It hasn’t really bothered me before but I think because I’m struggling at the minute I kind of just wish there was a way I could ask him to reach out. I don’t know. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense. I just wish I could hear from him again

I’m nearly 3 weeks post op and man I cannot shit. I took a laxative on week 1 and shat myself, then proceeded to go literally 7 times that day. But other than that, nothing. I haven’t been in five days, felt a slight urge today, went and it was agony, only a tiny bit came out and it was just orange. Doesn’t matter what I eat, fibre, fat, carbs, I can’t shit. Other than that laxative I think I’ve literally had two bowel movements since surgery, and both were sitting on the toilet knees up taking deep breaths and eventually (warning, gross) having to pretty much pull out the rest with my hands. Has anyone else had this?

Also the bloating. I look 6 months pregnant man.

Hoping I’m just being dramatic but I don’t know. Last week I actually posted a success story because I felt so good, but then Monday something changed and I’ve felt like crap. Weirdly it was actually when I started eating healthy that it got bad. I just want to be able to have a bowel movement that’s normal, it’s either urgent diaorrhea or constant constipation with pain and bloating and gas. No inbetween at all. If I take a stool softener or laxative, I’m going 6 times a day, I can’t leave the house out of the anxiety because there really is little to no warning. If I take nothing, I ain’t going at all, I’m feeling I need to, bloated to the point I look pregnant and experiencing pain and the nastiest gas possible… but nothing. This sucks. Also the acid reflux is awful. I am only two weeks post op so again I’m hoping I’m being dramatic and it’ll settle, but this fucking sucks.
