Today, my Solterra’s 12V battery died when I tried to start it. Roadside assistance showed up in under 10 minutes and was able to jump-start it in about a minute.

The tech mentioned that he’s had six other new Solterra owners call in for the same issue over the past two months. That definitely wasn’t reassuring.

I’m taking it to the dealer since the car is only a month old, but seriously, this is frustrating. I only went with the Solterra because Model Y insurance was outrageous, but dealing with a dead 12V battery on a brand-new car is really annoying.
