I love the babies, but I’m always so happy when I see the big one still enjoying my cat food. I wish so much that I could protect them or do more, but knowing they have looped me in to their evening exploits makes me so happy I got sober a few months ago and enjoying these guys has been such a wonderful activity for me at night now that I don’t drink.
The cuteness was too much and I scared him off 🥹🤦♀️

Just got home from dinner and a movie with my mom where of course I told her about my little friends lol.

Sorry if I post too much, but I am honestly so obsessed with my backyard night time friends :). As of now I’m feeding 3 stray cats, about 4 opossums and a chonky raccoon. My favorite times are when the house is asleep and I can creep on the cuties who come sniffing around my back door. Tonight Elder Opossum was hanging out on the fence after I fed the cats, so I laid out some cotton candy grapes and water next to the cat food and waited. Not long, because a big ass raccoon came and enjoyed the buffet. He didn’t like the grapes, so after he left the opossum finally got his turn :). Just checked and he and the grapes have exited stage left. Had to post the little thief though bc he’s so freaking cute.

I’m pretty sure I am visited by two large opossums and two little guys lately. I love getting to recognize them now 🩷🥹 my real life Snow White fantasy!
Caught this moment just now, the skittish stray kitty who’s been coming around for dinner lately and the young possum who usually times their visit later in the evening find themselves ready for dinner at the same time. So adorable!
Just put my groceries away and my Instacart shopper forgot my apples. Other than that, I’m pretty happy.
So I just found this ground and had to post a couple of cuties I’ve had the chance to observe in my back yard recently. I am just obsessed with these guys.
