My wife and I are non-French speaking Americans visiting from Michigan, US. I just wanted to leave a note here and rave about our experience at Bateau de Nuit. I found the bar looking for “heavy metal” adjacent bars in Quebec City and it definitely fit the bill. In our <90 minute experience at the bar we had incredible beers which were curated by the barman, Sebastian. Sebastian shares a second name with my first name. He spoke to my wife and I as if we were friends. We talked extreme music. He gave us recommendations for my wife and I’s tourist itinerary for tomorrow. Just a class dude. 10/10.
