Is there any information out there on how Smurf actually obtained the house? It’s the most ambitious part of the whole series, oddly.

I think Janine really did try with Julia. Like any parent, she wanted to pass along a lifestyle and legacy. Julia was resistant from day 1. Jay lived on in Julia however.. that’s an interesting adjacent topic.
