Edgefest 1998 - Canada Day
Did anyone else get to experience this show or another on the tour? It was such a blast. The mix of Canadian alt-rock stars with megastars like Foos and Green Day was a crazy experience for an 18 year old.
JALE - Dreamcake
Jale was a killer Halifax based band that was scooped up by SUBPOP in the 90’s, along with a few other bands in the region. This is their first of three albums and my personal favourite… if you haven’t already, give them a listen.
Northern Pikes play Grapes of Wrath
This was so cool to watch. I wanted to share
Who's planning to see Big Sugar or Sloan this month?

youtu.beBender - ... Don't Say No
I haven't thought about this band in years! Back in the MySpace days, I messaged their account and one of them sent me a rip of the album Funny Kar!

youtu.beMint
Hi all - I am having trouble tracking down any tunes by a band from the late 90s/early 00s called Mint
They may not have ever even released an album - Mint had 3 songs on a Mike’s Hard Lemonade summer CD release (two of the songs were named “Nice Girl” and “All Summer Long”)
These songs have been in my head for 25 years, and I haven’t heard them in that long - have never seen or heard a trace of a band called Mint, haven’t found anything online, and the only evidence they ever existed is 3 songs on a Mikes Hard mixtape (which I don’t have either)
Ringing any bells for anyone? Any info would be appreciated!
