It's been a while since I've listed anything on here, but I recently came across some amazing silver pieces at an antique store. I wanted to share them on here where there may be some people who are looking for them more than on the jewelry forum where I am more active.

I apologize that the first time listing them is a bit rushed; however, if you want more pictures of anything in particular, please let me know, and I will send them when I get home tonight. I am planning to get more detailed pictures in individual links a little bit later too for future listings. All items are in "as found" condition: meaning I have not attempted to repair, change, or modify them from the way they were sold to me by an antique store. Based on the provenance of the dealer, I believe them to be original pieces rather than modern reproductions. If you have anything information to the contrary, please let me know.

Offers: Due to the age of these items, they are not priced relative to melt. I will consider offers that respect the age and historic value of the items on top of their intrinsic metal value. Offers of melt will not be considered, except for the makeup compact. But in general, I have tried to price these items around or significantly below comps. All prices also include insured shipping.

ITEM 1: 800 purity peacock. Based on comparable listings, this is 1/2 of a set; German Hanau made from early 1900s. It has a hollow body, and there was a small repair on the tail that is visible from the underside and was well covered on the top. Weight for the individual item is 244g. Dimensions are about 5.5" tall by about 12" long. Asking $1,200.

ITEM 2: 999 purity Korean cloisonné bowl weight 367g. These bowls are highly collectible, and this one is beautifully carved and worked. No maker's mark that I can see, but it is marked with Ag999. Asking $1,500.

ITEM 3: 925 purity Whiting Davis purse weighing 150g. There is a bit more to the mark that I am really struggling to read, but the brand is pretty clear. Also clearly marked "sterling." No imperfections in the links as far as I can tell. The clasp has small round blue sapphire cabs on it. This purse is deceptively heavy for its size. A classic early 19th century item. Asking $600.

ITEM 4: 950 purity Meiji? Japanese cigarette case featuring the 7 deities weighing 192g. There is a slight defect with one of the clasps, so it only closes on one side. This one is signed on the cover, but I can't read the Japanese, and AI isn't super helpful. Asking $850.

ITEM 5: A 950 purity silver French military medal featuring the Algeerie and Forces Françaises en Allemagne bars. Weight is about 17g if I remember correctly. Asking $75.

ITEM 6: 925 purity Hecho en Mexico ALC Guadalajara belt buckle featuring a bull with red stone or glass eyes. Weight is 55g. Asking $200.

ITEM 7: 925 purity Siam niello makeup compact. Weight is 119.1g, but there is a small amount of weight dedicated to the mirror and ring holding it in. So subtract maybe 10g. Still in very good condition, worked on both sides. This is the only piece priced relative to melt vale at 10% over melt. Asking $205.

ITEM 8: 900 purity Egyptian miniature pots weighing 122g. I can read the basic purity hallmark on this because it's pretty easy, but I can't make out the rest. I'd love additional information on what these are supposed to be because it looks like they are beautiful attempts to create miniature (but functional) dishes used for heating something. There's a little hole in the side of the base that you could insert a match into. Asking $450 for the pair.
