Hi All

I’m wanting to install an induction hob in my kitchen. I currently have a “Cooker” circuit which is 4mm T&E on a 32A MCB, which feeds a single 13A socket for my oven.

The cable is clipped direct.

I want to install a 7.4kW induction hob onto this circuit.

Am I right in thinking I’ll be OK due to diversity and that clipped direct 4mm2 cable can carry up to 37A?
