Looking to get some of the lian li led cables but happy with how it came out so far

Hi guys, Im looking at getting a new monitor and desk and just wanted to check somethig, im looking at getting the samsung Odyssey g8 34 inch with a stand size of 19.2cm but the desk im looking at getting has a monitor shelf thats only 18cm deep, would you guys be comfortable with that 1cm overhang hang the monitor stand or would you look for another desk, tia
