To me an extended cut of Project Hail Mary is a no-brainer and I would truly be surprised if even a year or so down the line there isn’t talks about it releasing considering the popularity of the movie, but do you think we will ever get one? And if so, when?
If Padmé and her handmaidens had been successful in finding Shmi Skywalker (Anakin’s Mother) do you think Anakin would have still become Darth Vader? If you confused with what I’m talking about. The Queen’s Shadow Book Series, which follows Padmé and her Handmaidens before the Invasion of Naboo through the first half of the Clone Wars before Order 66 is executed. (Yes, these books are Canon!)
In the Books “A Queen’s Peril” and “A Queen’s Shaddow” it establishes that Padmé after her term as Queen and before she became a senator. Padmé and one of her handmaidens Sabé were going to free people from Slavery on Tatooine, with Sabé and Tonra being the ones to do it since Padmé was asked to become senator. In the book they were able to free a lot of people but they were unable find and free, Shmi Skywalker.
Since Shmi’s death was the first thing that began Anakin’s fall to the dark side, do you think if Shmi was freed by Padmé and possibly left Tatooine, would Darth Vader even exist?
