Burton Ion Boots - Toe Cap breaking
Back in 2021 I spent nearly $700 cad on a pair of "top of the line" Burton Ion snowboard boots. I've enjoyed riding with them 10 - 15 days a year over the past 5 seasons but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue I have. On both boots the stitching that holds the toe cap to the boot body has come apart - leading to water intrusion and chilly feet.
I spoke with my local shop today and they connected with their Burton rep who stated that Burton will only warranty boots for 1 year.
I'm pretty disappointed. I bought what I thought was a top of the line boot from a reputable company and I didn't even get 100 days of riding out of them.
So I'm thinking maybe I'll try some Union boots next season.
