My friend and I are going to do our first soulink. I myself have played through all games so I won't have a problem but he never touched a Pokemon game. So I wanted to ask with what game should we start with?

I was thinking usum or Oras because they were some of my best experiences with pokemon (well aside from bw2 but ik that game is hard)
