Look at what I did! Behold!

I bought the Better Goods gf banana but muffin mix last time I was at Walmart. It's box not scratch. And ignore my crappy slicing skills. But damn just look at that thing!

Now, my standards with banana bread are super high. My mom is an excellent baker and after her Texas sheet cake, banana nut bread is probably her next best. I grew up spoiled I'm saying.

I never thought I'd have that amazing delicious banana bread again after getting diagnosed with NCGS. No way am I spending a fortune to buy all the gf baking ingredients. So I bought the mix and decided to try it.

Now I did have to doctor it up a bit. My momma raised me right when it comes to baking. Hehe. I added a real banana Because how you going to call it banana bread if there's no banana in there? (If you don't bake, wait until it's overripe and brown for making banana bread. If you're debating throwing it out it's screaming to be made into banana bread.). And I reduced the water to 1/2 cup instead of what the box called for because the banana adds moisture so less would be needed. Then mixed and baked according to directions on the back of the box.

And it fucking turned out way beyond my expectations! I thought it would just be ok. But it's good!! It's so good. I will totally be buying this box mix again.

Gavilyte vs suprep? Also nervous about trying again

Ok so I was supposed to have a colonoscopy last week. She prescribed gavilyte. It didn't work. It made me so sick, and I puked it all back up. The irony of spending all on dread of having to shut my guts out only to then dread not shitting at all. I'm 4'10" (with shoes on 🤣) and one of my digestive issues lately is early satiety .... So why anyone thought I'd be able to drink that much liquid in the big ass jug idk. It was horrible. I've never felt so awful in my life. By early afternoon I had the worst headache from not eating, but the drink made me feel so sick and puking your guts out when you don't have anything in them .... I just I can't. I'm never doing that again.

I was already not looking forward to it (first one), but now I have to worry about going through that miserable time all over again for no reason. She prescribed the suprep pills .... But turns out insurance won't cover them. So now I have to do the liquid suprep. How much is it to drink? I know it's not nearly as much as the giant jug of gavilyte, but I still worry I won't be able to drink it all. The PA wasn't very helpful (or comforting lol). She did suggest I call my PCP and get something for nausea which I will definitely do. But when I tried to explain that I was super anxious and worried about not being to drink that much liquid she just brushed it off. She said to do just clear liquids for a few days before. A few days? I couldn't handle one without my head killing me.

And now Idk what to do. I mean obviously gotta do what you gotta do so I'm going to try it ....but I just really don't want to feel that horrible again and have to reschedule again because I couldn't get any prep into my system. And also how do I avoid the killer headache from not eating? (I get migraines real bad, would taking maxalt help?). Thanks for letting me vent.
