Wobbly when coming to a stop.

I have noticed that when coming to a complete stop, the last foot or so the bike becomes wobbly. I have to fight and adjust to keep the bike upright or i feel like i have to put my foot down slightly pre maturely.

This is my first bike after a 10 year hiatus so I do have some experience with motorcycles but I will admit the skills are quite rusty.

I have filled the tires up to proper psi, the rear suspension is set at 4 which is good for my weight. The Vulcan s is brand new off the show room floor. Any Ideas what it could be? or should i just practice more low speed maneuvering.

Beginner cruiser. Kawasaki Vulcan S or Indian Sport Sixty

Hello. I am looking at purchasing a light cruiser for city and highway and I have narrowed the selection down to the Kawasaki Vulcan S and the Indian Scout Sixty with the 999cc engine.

I live in the middle of the prairie's in Canada and both bike will ride equally well around the city but we do a lot of highway riding out here and I am wondering how well the Kawasaki Vulcan will keep up at 110kph revving at 5 - 6k rpm for hours on end.

Also, my friend lives in Kelowna and I plan to ride through the Canadian Rocky's multiple times per year to his cabin. Will the Vulcan S be able to handle riding up and down mountains?
