I don’t know a whole lot about aroace, but I have a friend who I have a crush on who explained it to me and expressed that she might feel that way. She also told me its a spectrum, and attraction and love can be different person to person. I’m sort of just wondering if I should still plan on asking her out sometime in the future or if i should back off. I don’t want to make her uncomfortable because she’s still a close friend of mine and I love her so much.

I have been a swim instructor for over a year now and have recently started working with children with special needs for a couple of months. Some of these children are nonverbal and use sign language to talk. I was wondering if there are some signs i could learn to help communicate with them, or online courses that i could take for cheap or possibly free. Signs like: scoop, paddle, kick, legs, arms, jump, dive, stroke, streamline. If you are well versed in ASL and also a competitive swimmer who is familiar with signs related to aquatics, I would love your advice!
