Hi, so I have Zimone, Infinite Analyst out with 3x 1+/+1 counters on her. I also have 5 mana. I cast a creature with 1 Green, 1 Blue and X. I use Zimone's ability to cast this creature with 1 Blue, 1 Green and X = 6 (3 remaining mana + Zimone's counters).

My opponent counters the spell with Mana Drain, do they get 5 mana or 8 mana

If I have Zada, Hedron Grinder in play, a fortune thief face down and 3 goblin tokens. Can I play Arc Bond and Blasphemous Act and morph Fortune Thief to survive with 1 health, or does Fortune Thief's dying mean I die as well?
