Jack was adopted from a rescue charity. I was told that he had been kept alone in his cage for a year after his previous owner separated him from his cage mate due to hormonal aggression. He hated being handled and, during his first month in our home earlier this year, bit me multiple times because he didn’t like being touched.

This is Jack now 🥹 He’s the cuddliest rat in the entire pack, and I just wanted to share with you all how adorable he is❤️

Chicken, thank you for being the sweetest little companion. You made ordinary days so much brighter, and I’ll miss you every single day.
