We came short but great job voting everyone!
I love how everyone came together and voted! It was a great effort despite the loss! Let's all pat ourselves in the back!

Pretty much the title. I feel like misinformation spreads online all the time, especially in K-pop, and sometimes fans just decide something is a fact and refuse to change their minds even when it’s been proven false.
What are some things you wish would finally be cleared up about your favorite groups?
I had REALLY high expectations for this song when it was announced they’d be collaborating, but now that I’ve heard the full package, I’m feeling very underwhelmed. WDA is very similar to Dirty Work but clearly worse. The background instrumental stays fairly consistent from start to finish and lacks much dynamic progression. It’s not bad, but I expected more from Dem Jointz on this one.
At its core, the WDA is mainly a hip hop track where about 90% of it is English rap. The main problem is that the rap verses feel objectively boring. I’m saying objectively on purpose because it’s hard for me to imagine even the most casual rap listeners finding these verses particularly engaging. There’s nothing especially interesting about the flow, cadence, or rhyme schemes. If they had just given Giselle a genuinely strong rap verse and let the other members carry a more vocal-driven chorus, I honestly think the song would’ve been ten folds better. Instead, we got this undercooked track with a boring chorus of GD repeating "She a whole different animal, different animal, whole different animal, different animal".
Even GD’s verse didn’t do much for me. He rarely features on other artists’ songs, so I guess I was expecting the lyrical/rap quality to be closer to what he brought on IU's Palette back in 2017. I guess my expectations were too high.
I think what makes the disappointment hit harder is just how much anticipation I had going into it. From the verses, to the chorus, to GD's closing verse, there really wasn’t a single moment that felt memorable or genuinely intriguing. How do you guys feel about the song?
Eunseok posted a childhood photo of himself on bubble where he appeared noticeably more tan and referred to himself as kkamdungi, a term often used to describe someone with a darker complexion. It’s a very contextual word that can range from being used as an affectionate nickname for a person or even a pet, to being used in a derogatory way similar to “blackie.”
Not long after fans called him out for it, he deleted the comment and has remained silent since. Either SM is trying to quietly move past it, or they may be preparing a statement. Even if he didn’t intend to use the term in a derogatory way, he should’ve been aware that it can also carry racial undertones or be interpreted as a slur depending on the context. It just feels like a really dumb move on his part especially with Riize supposedly making a comeback next month.
