ASN RN Program Rejection

Heyall, did anyone else not get into the Fall 2026 cohort?

I know they don't publish numbers but my advisor mentioned that the pool was very big for fall and I'm seeing there are only 90 spots for the first year classes available. I have A's in all my prereqs but I no longer work in a healthcare role anymore, so I think I got passed over because of that.

Did anyone get accepted and have any tips for applying for Spring 27?

GLP1 and Conceiving

Hello, I’m so glad to have found this community!

I’m 39, have PCOS and a large pendunculated subserosal fibroid (7x7cm, not growing).

So far I have conceived one time after a year of trying, but unfortunately it ended in a TFMR.

Today I had an appointment with an amazing OB/GYN who validated all of my concerns over my PCOS. Previously I had been on a GLP one to manage my pre-diabetes which worked wonders. I took a break due to travel and family things, and now I just started it back up this past week. My partner and I are looking to try again in the fall after I’m done with my second round to lose a little extra weight.

Since my PCOS throws my cycle out of whack, my doctor recommended I stay on the GLP1 while trying to conceive and then stop once I get pregnant.

Has anyone else’s doctor recommended this to them?

I’m seeing a lot of conflicting and nonconclusive information about doing this online and I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience with doing this.

Hello all, I’m a nursing student set to transition to an accelerated BSN bridge program next year, I can also take my NCLEX next year so I can start working. My end goal in life is to become a PMHNP for rural communities in the intermountain west where I’m located.

I have a lot of experience in pharmacy and some as a CNA (in RNF), I’m looking for a job that might prepare me best for becoming a PMHNP. I really want relevant nursing experience under my belt before I go into an NP program, but I’m not sure which positions I should be looking for or prioritizing other than psych nursing.

Does anyone have any suggestions for potential RN jobs that might help me in the future?

Any advice is welcome, thanks!
