Is it wise to change the gasket myself? or should i hand it over to a mechanic

This is a 2012 Hyundai elantra diesel 1.6 CRDi engine . The previous owner seemed to abuse the vehicle. I got the car for dirt cheap money 8 months ago. I love repairing the car myself ( had done steering rack repairs , strut replacements etc.. for this car by myself) but i never touched an engine ever.

From my limited experience, it seems like the valve cover gasket is failing and the car drips oil ( about 2 drops per day after driving the car). Is this something i can work on? I've read it's difficult to pull the injectors and it can be time consuming and high risk depending on the tools we have. consider myself an average joe.

Are these hyundai diesel engines more forgiving if i just let it run and refill the oil when necessary? i'd love to hear from an actual mechanic or an expert who does engine work.

let me know if it's something i can do or should i hand over the keys to a mechanic

Help!

Oil in the breather hose. I checked this with a turbo technician and he told me the turbo is fine but there might be an oil separator block or crankcase decompression issue , ignoring it for long can cause intercooler , turbo and Catalytic issues. Is this true? i really need the car to survive another 4 months cause rn i'm broke as hell

I noticed oil dropping too low after about 4000kms , i had to refill about a litre every 4K kms.

I also notice reduced mileage and thick black smoke when the car is accelerating.

Is it safe to drive for another 4 months? Is this issue expensive?

Need Help! Car infotainment issue

It's an old hyundai elantra with Roadmaster Infotainment system

Recently the display started to flicker whenever all the lights are turned off. I can also hear a faint "tick tick" sound from the speakers in sync with the flicker. (hope the audio captured it)

The display also shows lines at the sides and is too dim during daytime. Its almost dying and i know it but i really love this Infotainment. Is it fixable?

Enquired many TV , Audio and Infotainment techs but they refuse to replace the display or find a solution to the flicker as the unit is too old and not worth it according to them. I can pay whatever the asking price is but i need it sorted out.

I refuse to upgrade with quality replacements from top brands as it doesn't sit well with me. They are either too big or too flashy. I don't want to ruin the factory spec as it looks really clean and aesthetic.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
