My friend played Monster Hunter for the first time after I bought him MHR Sunbreak and we played up until LR Magnamalo

It blew him the fuck up and he fainted three times so we went to craft him the Rathian Armour Set since what he was using was buns

We fought about 6 Rathians and he did NOT find a Rathian Plate and I stumbled across four. Explained the desire sensor to him and he was NOT having it.

It’s peak Monster Hunter. This game fucking rules

Bonus: Sent him a video on Dual blades and he said “oooooh I’m supposed to be in Demon Mode all the time?” after he was complaining about having to sheathe his weapon all the time and being so slow when moving. I love experiencing Monster Hunter through a new players eyes

I'm trying to learn this song, and I can play it by individual placing my fingers on the D and G strings and strumming those ones individually.

However, in this video this person is somehow strumming all six strings while getting a clean sound. When I tried to copy him it sounded terrible and muddy, I couldnt replicate what he was doing.

Is there some sort of technique or finger positioning that I'm missing? Is the way he's muting the strings really simple if you just know exactly what he's doing? I feel like just playing the two strings instead of playing them all and muting the ones I dont want is going to result in me building a bad habit.
