how tiktok affects mental health?

I have been trying to figure out how tiktok affects mental health even when I'm watching motivational or nice content. I thought adjusting my feed would help, but it made things worse

I use tiktok for about an hour in the morning and another hour or two before going to sleep. I adjusted my for you page to show productivity tips, mental health advice, self care routines, etc. I thought if I avoided the drama and the comparison content, I'd feel better

I realized that content on tiktok that is supposed to be positive and motivating still makes you feel like you're not good enough. looks like every video is someone waking up at 5 a.m., doing yoga, journaling, eating a perfect breakfast, working on their business and still having time to be calm and centered. meanwhile, I am watching this shit in bed at 11 p.m. after doing nothing all day, feeling like a failure

I tried using tiktok only 30 minutes a day before going to sleep, but it always ends up being 2 hours scrolling

has anyone else noticed how tiktok affects mental health their mental health? how are you coping with that?

fertility trackers

I am looking for fertility tracker that is worth the money in 2026

I am 33 and I need a wearable for tracking my ovulation. my friend says that oura ring is the best, my sister uses femometer app, and my coworker uses ava. I have no idea which of these fertility trackers is actually the most accurate and I don't want to spend $300 to figure out I picked the wrong one.

I would use it with an iPhone 15, so I need a fertility tracker that would be compatible with ios and Health app. my main goal is tracking ovulation for TTC, so I need something that gives me a proper heads up before ovulation, not just after

which fertility trackers gave you the most accurate ovulation window? is the subscription actually adding value?

oura ring gen 5 vs oura ring gen 4

everyone is hyping the ring 5 launch and I get it. its thinner, lighter, new sensors, GLP-1 tracking, etc. but the more I read, the more I feel like Oura kind of didn't do enough to justify a full generation jump?

What is bugging me is that its the same subscription either way and you need to pay $5.99 a month. all the headline software features are coming to ring 4 anyway. Battery is only ~1 day longer on the 5 which is not a big difference. Ring 4 prices are dropping fast now due to the new gen release. The only real upgrade I see is the 40% smaller body and the 4x more powerful LEDs. cool, but is that worth additional $100?

what do you guys think about the new oura ring gen 5? is it worth the hype?

Healthcare AI’s Next Phase: Turning Predictions Into Clinical Action

if generative AI begins recommending next steps alongside predictive risk scores, where should the line be drawn between decision support and decision-making?

who is accountable when a clinician follows an AI's suggestion and the outcome is poor?

best watch for runners?

which watch is best for tracking running workouts? I am into running for like 2 years now and I am using apple watch SE (the old one) to track my run workouts. tbh I am sooo tired of this watch, especially when you need to charge it everyday.. makes me so annoyed

I decided that I need an upgrade so I wouldn't need to charge my watch every evening. also, I was wondering which smart watch is the most accurate one for tracking running and other activities?

everyone online is saying that Garmin is one of the best options for runners but the watch is a bit pricey for me. are there other brands that are as good as Garmin but a bit cheaper?

is white noise machine worth it?

my mom is a light sleeper and she has issues falling asleep. she always listens to fan noises on YT before going to sleep and leaves it for the whole night. this means she has to charge her phone overnight and cant locl it because she doesn't have YT premium. it is not convenient for her

I was thinking of getting her a white noise machine she would be able to use instead of using her phone. something small and easthetic that she could place on her nightstand.

I have been checking some basic and scientific articles, reading reviews online and it looks like it actually helps people to fall asleep faster and calms their nervous system. some say its way more comfortable and different from just listening a YT video

has anyone tried white noise machine themselves and can share their thoughts and pros/cons of this device?

what is cryotherapy?

I have been seeing this word online for too often lol. a lot of biohackers use cryotherapy to improve their longevity.

what is cryotherapy and has anyone tried it?

been checking some explanations online and it seems that its the same as cold therapy just you are using some specific full body devices that look like standing tanning beds

but if I go to swim in a cold lake in the middle of the winter does it also counts as cryotherapy?
