Northside Hill Neighborhood Association to Host Mt. Simon Park Fundraiser at The Lakely on May 26

Fundraiser will support park improvements, including better restroom access at Upper Mt. Simon

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The Northside Hill Neighborhood Association (NHNA) will host the Mt. Simon Park

Fundraiser @ The Lakely on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Lakely in

downtown Eau Claire.

The event will raise money for improvements at Mt. Simon Park, with a special focus on helping Upper Mt.

Simon gain better bathroom access. As momentum builds around recent and planned investments in the park,

NHNA is working to help ensure that families, park users, and visitors have access to needed amenities as

improvements continue.

The Lakely is supporting the effort by donating 20% of food and drink sales during the event to the NHNA

Park Fund. The evening will also feature a raffle with prizes, giving attendees another way to support the

fundraiser while enjoying a fun community night out.

Upper Mt. Simon has recently seen new energy and investment, and NHNA hopes this fundraiser will help

build on that progress. The association’s long-term goal is to support practical, lasting improvements that make

the park more welcoming and usable for everyone.

“This is a chance for the community to come together, have a fun night out, and support one of Eau Claire’s

great neighborhood parks,” said Andrew Niese, president of the Northside Hill Neighborhood Association. “Mt.

Simon is already seeing meaningful improvements, and we want to help keep that momentum going.”
