Eyeliner is such a b word when you have hooded eyes btw. 🤭 💜
It somehow just randomly appears on parts of my eye triggering my trans woman fury.

I just wanted to Introduce myself!! I am Auri. I was in the navy from 2010-2019. My time in the service was pretty unique I initially joined with a BUD/S contract made it out to Coronado and classed up with 284 but I dropped pretty quickly into first phase.
I went undesignated to the fleet but was able to go to search and rescue swimmer school prior to getting there. This was a pretty common path for BUD/S drops at the time.
I ended up doing two deployments on the Carter-Hall and was able to get VBSS school while I was there, and a bunch of other random quals, crazy stories, and a random chest tattoo done by a friend out at sea. I separated as a Boatswains Mate 2nd Class or E5
After I left the navy I went back to school and got a bachelors and associate’s in Computer info science & cybersecurity and now I’m a network engineer working for a gigantic privately owned corporation.
I do my HRT through the VA and have been seeing docs there for gender stuff since 2020ish. 10/10 do not recommend if you can avoid it.
Anyways I love to connect with other vets and share stories, or if anyone is thinking about getting out and wants some tips or help hmu!!!
Somehow my phone got less fem and I got more fem.
My work fit from Friday and then I capped off the day by getting a flat iron flank steak with basil chimichurri and a bowl of she crab soup at this cool spot on the beach. Yes your girl is from the Chesapeake bay. We got crab in literally everything 💜 🦀
I think transition is as much about becoming yourself as it is about learning to run toward your fears. For me, those two things were inseparable.
My first real thoughts that I would have to transition came in my mid-twenties. Before that, they were abstract. Then they started clawing their way to the surface.
I remember telling myself, “I can’t do this. I’ll look like a feminine linebacker. This can’t be my life.” It wasn’t certainty speaking—it was fear.
So I coped. I stayed busy. I partied. But every time life slowed down, those feelings came back stronger than before.
About nine months ago, I pulled into this bar and sat in my truck getting in and out of it multiple times because I was terrified to walk inside. Eventually I got tired of listening to fear. I said, “F it,” and walked in.
You know what happened?
Nothing.
Nobody cared. Nobody judged me. In that moment I realized the only thing holding me back from coming out was my own fear.
This picture was taken in that same bar.
Now I walk through those doors by myself without giving it a second thought.
Transition taught me that fear often isn’t a warning—it’s a gatekeeper. The things that terrify us the most are sometimes the very things that make us whole.
Be fearless. Become you. ❤️
I am at the tail end of a gigantic voice migration that I have been working on for almost a year and I swear to god I’m at the choke slam phase of IT fatigue.
The last 2 weeks I have been putting in 20k steps daily trying to replace hardware phones and I still have enough gas in the tank to look cute 💁♀️ I am sooooo happy tomorrow is Friday 💜
I guess a plus side to walking around the facility so much is all the eye contact with the boys hehe. 😉
I was feeling this outfit wayyy too much not to share.
One thing I’ve noticed since transitioning and moving through the world as a woman:
I feel seen in a way I never did before.
Before, I could walk into a room and disappear into the background. Now it feels like I’m constantly aware of people looking at me—men, women, everyone. Especially at work.
When I first started presenting, that was honestly one of the hardest adjustments. Being observed all the time made me incredibly self-conscious, and I don’t think people talk about that part of transition very often.
Today I spent most of the day walking through our manufacturing facility leading a phone migration project while looking like an absolute dime.
The difference now is that I don’t shrink anymore. I know people are going to look, so I hold my shoulders back, keep my chin up, and keep walking.
I’m really proud of how much my confidence has grown.
And honestly… I’d probably look too. 😚
I have been on HRT for like 17 months now and I’m pretty realistic about my current growth goals. I don’t think it’s in the cards for me to have some kind of exponential growth to get me to where I want to be at this point. I am currently sitting at B cup.
I tried sizers on at the office from 500cc to 650cc and I have to say I am absolutely in love with the 600’s. I am pretty big at 6ft with an athletic build and I feel like they softened my body and proportions so much. Like 99% sure I’ll be moving forward this year with the surgery.
The surgeon did say he goes over the muscle and not underneath, he’s reasoning made sense to me although I know many girls go underneath. I am curious if anyone has done over top and how were the results?
I have had this dress sitting in the closet for a while. I wanted to take some pics with it and this new lighting setup I got. Voila 😘
