Get a new refrigerator or not?

I have a KitchenAid French door refrigerator that is a little over 3 years old. From day one, I wasn't happy with it even though it was the refrigerator that I dreamed about getting. It was loud. Loud enough to hear it down the hall. Not always, just daily. Finally, that noise stopped. Last year, just after the warranty expired, my freezer quit working. The day the guy came to look at it, it had started working again. So, he charged 700 for a fix that he was just guessing at. Yesterday, it quit working again. I took out my food, and in about 3 hours, it started working again. My question is, do I throw more money at it, or just get a new refrigerator? This was an expensive refrigerator, but I'm not happy with it at all.
