Blade game will likely get canceled

"Microsoft is reportedly considering canceling Marvel's Blade. The Arkane Lyon upcoming title has allegedly fallen significantly behind schedule, slipping from a late 2026 window to late 2027, and has also blown past its allocated budget."

Given what is being reported, it's hard to not think about mismanagement on the business side of the process. And it's bad because Arkane will not only need to justify the over spending, but will also need to convince the parties involved to inject more money.

I don't know how often situation like this occurs in the gaming industry, but in other business ventures this is precisely a situation any project manager would obviously like to avoid, unless you can justify it like in the case of a force majeure situation.

On top of that ever since, we all saw the trailer, Arkane didn't show much about the progress being made. I personally saw some artworks and storyboards, some announcements about people being hired to work on the project but no new footages or gameplay orientation. It looks like Arkane did Blade dirty.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is more visceral than DMC5

The combat in NG4 is deep and impactful. You feel for the foes when you are taking them down. While in DMC5 the swords have no weight. The shooting is way better than the sword fight that's a problem. 45 min of NG4 can give me cramps, while I can play 2 hours straight of DMC5 and it feels like a breeze.
