Mexican street corn🌽

I tried to recreate an elote from Mexico here in the USA and it still tasted different. The corn was yellow and the cob felt a little bit skinnier and smaller.

The corn came from HEB. I will try to find corn imported from Mexico in my area so that I can get that exact taste.

A whole chicken feast for one

1 thigh, 1 leg, chips with different salsas, fries, ketchup, tortillas, elbow salad, limes, and a pepper.

Bistec ranchero with rice, beans, guacamole, salad, and flour tortillas. Choriqueso, chips, bean dip, and salsa.

I also just started to eat salsa. I used to never eat it but I recently started to dip my chips in it. I’m going to try to slowly incorporate it into other foods in my life and warm up to it. Hopefully I continue to like it bc I had never been a fan of salsa until now.

First time trying canned menudo. I got the Juanita’s brand. It’s really good. I recommend it if you don’t want to make it or don’t want to go to a restaurant.

The tortillas are homemade. A friend of mine gave them to me.

And the jumex juice comes straight from Mexico. I bought it when I went there a few weeks ago.

I almost got brisket mac and cheese over these. But I’m glad I went with tacos instead. One of the best tacos in my life! 10 out of 10
