Riding new XR from Alabama to Miami.
Just got this new xr and noticed this at a gas station. Right at 1000 miles. What could it be? Doesn’t look like oil to me. Coming from drive shaft

Seeing a lot of new grads having a hard time finding work. How hard would it be for an A&P with 5 years experience in structures and 2 as a mechanic, to land a job after finishing a bachelors in mechanical engineering? I definitely want to stay in aviation and will probably pursue my masters but I want to know if my current aviation experience will have any value as an engineer right out of school.
I’m 32 w a relatively successful career as an a&p mainly in structures. I want to get a mechanical engineering degree as I constantly find myself wanting to get more involved with the R&D side and more technical aspect of aviation but I am intimidated by the math/physics involved and going back to school after not having had to actually study something since highschool. The a&p exams were just memorizing multiple choice questions so I don’t think they compare at all with what a 4 year degree like ME will demand of me. I guess I’m just looking for tips on how to retrain my brain for this, or anyone with a similar transition that can tell me how it went for them. I’m extremely ADD; school was never my forte so I think this will require a lot of adderalls to accomplish.
