Has anyone experienced HDMI 2.0 compatibility issues between a Nikon Z50 II and a Feelworld F5 ProX monitor?

Here’s the weird part:

• HDMI 1.4 mode works
• Menu and photo mode display correctly
• In video mode, HDMI 2.0 completely loses signal
• The monitor does NOT stay on a black image — it goes into “searching for signal / no signal” mode as if nothing is connected

I already tested:

• multiple HDMI cables
• factory reset on both devices
• different resolutions/frame rates
• PAL/NTSC
• different power sources

What’s confusing is:

• the monitor works perfectly in 4K with a PC
• it also works with a Nikon D7500 in 4K
• and with a Sony FX30
• the Nikon Z50 II also outputs 4K correctly to a TV and another older monitor

So nothing seems physically broken.

I recently used the monitor with:

• a Sony FX30
• a Hollyland Mars 400S
• and a Panasonic HD interlaced camcorder

Could this be some kind of HDMI handshake / EDID issue specifically with the Z50 II?

Current firmware on the F5 ProX: Version 5.02

Has anyone seen something similar or found a fix?
