What is SCS supposed to look like?

dumb question maybe but i just built my first scooter (it’s far from dialled so i’ve gotta learn 😂)

i just have a feeling this isn’t right but no idea if that’s true. i’m using the root air fork, aztek thrifty scs clamp, and rad bars. the compression bolt didn’t tighten all the way down, so i can see the bolt’s threading through the gap in the scs. the bolt that came w the clamp doesn’t fit the fork so i used the one that came with the fork, idk if that’s relevant.

is that normal? if not, do i need to brute force tighten it further (i am weak so that might be the case) or is it just a compatibility issue?

total newbie here so feel free to be honest with me :)

rearrange our bedroom !

hey! my fiancée and i want to make our house feel more like a home and are trying to create more intentional spaces.

we’ve had a corner bed for a while, but physical accessibility has become a priority so we’re finally making the big-girl decision of moving the bed 😂 the question is: where to? and what other furniture would you put in this room?

the room is approximately 14 ft (horizontally in the images), and 13 1/2 ft (vertically in the images). we’re lucky enough to have a king size bed (had to flex the MCM headboard we found secondhand). we also have a nightstand we don’t really use due to the headboard’s features, but no other bedroom furniture at this time.

any ideas are welcome!

origin of the stars?

stars are obviously one of the recurring symbols of the hit me hard and soft era. they’ve also been a recurring symbol in my life for the last year or so, so i’m considering getting a star tattoo anyway, and i thought it’d be a subtle way for me to pay homage to billie and her impact on my life, too!

i know the white marker star with “hit me hard and soft” written around it comes from the original track list they worked on in the studio. when the star symbol occurs on merch, it’s sometimes a standard five point star, like the doodle.

sometimes, though, it’s a slanted version (the top left, kinda the top right, and the tattoo example which i’ve seen multiple of). her ring is also a slanted star but, as far as i’m aware, that isn’t custom so it’s just the company’s design.

i’m leaning towards the slanted star for my tattoo and the merch (top left) kinda also has that hand-drawn look to it, so i was wondering if we actually know where that specific shape came from, or if it just popped up on merch and we all rolled with it lmao

i know this is a shot in the dark, but i figured i’d ask anyway :) thoughts?
