I've been optimizing heavy tetras and now I'm trying to make a lightweight
I'm trying to make a lightweight energy weapon generalist.
I like this weapon load.
I feel like I'm making a lot of compromises just to fit the weapons.im right at the weight limit and pretty limited by that limit.
I'm having trouble finding a good kinetic load out, that can perform as well as my EN loads.
I'm very specifically looking for weapons choices here.
Here are two examples that should fill similar roles and similar design philosophy. (I know both builds could be further optimized)
I find more success and easier use from the energy weapon load out than the kinetic.
En seems less reliant on stagger, has faster RoF and does more damage in rapid succession.
Kinetic does more to stagger but less dps {sometimes}higher spike damage, with longer reload times.
I'm working very specifically on using the verill legs as a platform. And avoiding most melee options other than the bunk, whip and the wuergur. Because I don't like dropping my hover for a melee. With some of the EN weapons it doesn't even seem worth it to bring a melee.
This is for PvE
I'm looking for and at any build advice that could be for either PvE or pvp.
Any recommendations to further refine here? Or would it just be a matter of taste to make changes?
I made this for aesthetic. But it's actually turning out to be pretty good in missions and arenas. And I have beefier setups that fill a similar role, but why is this working well?

We're in a heatwave and this drone is having trouble standing up.
I can get it to balance and stand. But it collapses and falls shortly after.
So is Ghastly the ghost of a Rick Dom? Or is the Dom the mecha evolution of a Gengar?
